Film Posters

These two posters were created for my final project at university. I love how the Alamo Drafthouse hires illustrators to create posters for special screenings of classic and cult films. I thought i'd take my cue from them and create a couple of fictional posters for a local cinema. Two of my favourite films, i hope i did them justice.

If anyone is interested in buying one of these posters, just send me an email, i am selling limited edition prints of both.

These are stunning - I love how you've really captured the aesthetic style for the respective countries.

Found your blog through Illustration Mundo. Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff, & congratulations on the Times commission!

God, I love you!!!! You're from Newcastle aswell, great to see another geordie illustrator on illustrationmundo. Your work is ...well ...it makes me want to give up. However, I can't do anything else so I'll just have to put up with the feelings of defeat.

I just came across your Lost in Translation poster that an American had posted on their Tumblr, and thought it a strange coincidence that it featured the Tyneside when I live in Newcastle!
I'm a bit in awe of how brilliant your work is.
